What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I wanted to play a part in reducing/removing suffering. I was twelve and initially wanted to be a veterinarian and an astronaut, then changed to wanting to become a medical doctor. There were no others in my family at that time in the medical field.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I love the fact that I can see all ages of patients. I wanted to help others in their most dire time of need. I love the wide range of medical illnesses and working to put together the pieces of their symptom puzzle.

How do you connect with your patients?

I try to meet them where they are at. I also try to find something about them that I can relate to or compliment in some way.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I love ballroom dancing, vocal performance, and zumba

What is your advice for your patients?

Be grateful for what they do have. Advise on diet and supplements if needed.
