What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
My father worked as a mail carrier for the USPS and struggled with constant foot pain that often made working difficult. After seeing several providers, it was a podiatrist who was finally able to help him. At the time, I didn’t know what podiatry was, but after spending time shadowing a podiatrist, I realized this was the specialty for me.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

Podiatry allows me to make a real difference for patients—often right away. I enjoy the balance of clinic and surgical care and the ability to help patients return to their daily activities with less pain and improved function.

How do you connect with your patients?

I put myself in my patients’ shoes and focus on understanding their goals. From there, I work with them to create a treatment plan that fits their needs and lifestyle.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Outside of work, I enjoy working on cars, watching Formula 1 racing, and traveling.

What is your advice for your patients?

It’s always better to ask questions or come in to have something checked out rather than waiting.
