About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

My earliest memory of wanting to work in medicine stems back to my time as an adolescent. I have always had a strong desire to help others and medicine gives me the opportunity to do just that.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

Working as a Hospitalist is a great combination of primary care and an array of specialties. This gives me flexibility to practice and to continually sharpen my skills.

How do you connect with your patients?

I connect with my patients on a personal level. Regardless of the circumstances involved we are all human. When people are treated as equals, explained situations simply, and are made to feel like you genuinely care about their wellbeing it is very simple to connect with them.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Outside of work my interests include the culinary arts, spending time with my family, and being the best mom I can be to my daughter. I also really enjoy teaching my students clinical classes at Caldwell University.

What is your advice for your patients?

Regardless of circumstance injecting positive energy into any situation will ultimately speed long any process.
