About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
My love for biology growing up and a personal experience of contracting typhoid fever as a child—during which I was cared for by a team of dedicated physicians—inspired me to pursue medicine.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I value the long-lasting relationships I build with my patients and the deep trust they place in us. Oncology allows me to be a consistent presence in their journey, both medically and emotionally. I get immense satisfaction when I can put up a smile on their face in their course of their treatment.
How do you connect with your patients?
I connect with my patients by treating them as friends first and patients next. Building trust and rapport is essential to providing compassionate care.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
I enjoy spending time with my family, swimming, and going on hikes with my dog.
What is your advice for your patients?
Focus on what you can control and let go of what you cannot. Empowerment, hope, and peace of mind are key to healing.
