About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
I wanted to be a doctor since the age of 16 when I first started working in the radiology department at St. Louis University Hospital.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I love that as a radiologist, you should ideally put the whole case together for the referring physician. I also enjoy that as a radiologist, you work with all different specialties.
How do you connect with your patients?
The majority of the time as a radiologist, I am not interacting with patients. The few times that I do get to interact with them, I like to think that a friendly smile and taking the time to listen to them makes the difference.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Hiking, sewing, spending time with family.
What is your advice for your patients?
I advise the patient to trust themselves in a way that they know their body.
