About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
I was a "natural" listener as a teen and often helped friends through difficult times.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I enjoy working with adults, teen and families who have communication problems and need guidance to recognize cognitive disorders.
How do you connect with your patients?
I am an active listener and try to find common ground so patients feel heard and understood. Empathy is primary.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Exercise, outdoor activities like hiking, spending time with my kids and family.
What is your advice for your patients?
To challenge their thoughts more vigorously and to recognize that discomfort does not equal danger.
