About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

Many years ago when I started in the nursing profession, I loved taking care of patients and I knew I would be a great provider as well.  As a result, I decided to become an NP. 

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I love having a broad knowledge of different symptoms.  

How do you connect with your patients?

I connect with patients by giving them the opportunity to engage in conversation and listening.  A great portion of illnesses can be managed if questions are asked and the patient's story is told. 

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I love to exercise and I also love to stay home and read non-fiction books. 

What is your advice for your patients?

I advise them to medicate and go to their medical follow ups to prevent hospitalization.
