About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
I was encouraged by my High School Science teacher to become a Doctor. I started doing volunteer work in hospitals and liked it.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I loved my Internal Medicine rotation as a medical student. Also, I love the complexity of medicine and feel like a detective at times.
How do you connect with your patients?
I usually sit at bedside when talking to them and also talk to them about my kids.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
I love watching HGTV and hiking with my husband and kids.
What is your advice for your patients?
Take your medications as prescribed and bring your pill bottles to the office for medical review.
