About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
My earliest memory of wanting to become a doctor goes back to grade school. I was inspired by my mother, a dedicated registered nurse, who cared deeply for her patients. I wanted to grow up and experience the same fulfillment—knowing I could help improve someone’s health, whether mental or physical.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I love psychiatry because it allows me to help people heal through mental health care and witness their progress. Brain Injury Medicine fascinates me—there’s so much potential to improve the lives of those affected by traumatic brain injuries.
How do you connect with your patients?
I connect by learning about their lives, interests, and what matters most to them. This helps me tailor care to their unique needs.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
I enjoy walking, exercising, and cooking healthy vegetarian meals. I strongly believe in living a healthy lifestyle.
What is your advice for your patients?
Stay committed to your treatment—it’s the key to progress and recovery.
