About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I was raised in an environment in which the values of compassion and empathy were inherently employed, as well as one where I took interest in the medical comorbidities of friends and family at a young age. These combined factors are that which sparked and continue to bolster my love of the medical field, particularly that of psychiatry.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

What I love most about psychiatry is that it provides an environment in which one can relate to others on an emotional level. I chose psychiatry in particular because I believe that as humans, there will inevitably be times in which we all struggle and I believe we are each in need of assistance throughout these turbulent times, for which I hope I can be of help.

How do you connect with your patients?

I like to provide an open and welcoming environment in which any aspect of your life can be discussed as to ensure the root cause of your psychological distress is addressed accordingly.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Watching a good TV show or movie, participating in trivia nights, listening to music, traveling, and most importantly, spending time with loved ones.

What is your advice for your patients?

Time heals all wounds, be patient and always work towards a better you.
