What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I wanted to be a doctor since I was in pre-school.  I was very impressed by our family physician and wanted to be like her.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I love my specialty as it provides an overall picture of the patient, his or her illness and getting to know them better. 

How do you connect with your patients?

Open communication, patience and developing an environment of trust. 

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Reading, cooking and spending time with my wonderful family. 

What is your advice for your patients?

Everything in moderation.
