News/Releases

Crystal Run Healthcare employees and physicians raised a total of $1,800 dollars to donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during the Annual Thunder 102 Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon on November 15th. A Practice-wide dress down day was held on November 1st to raise funds and awareness in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Employees throughout Crystal Run’s locations in Orange, Sullivan and Rockland counties personally donated money to support this cause. Crystal Run Healthcare physician, Michelle A. Koury, MD, was the guest host during the radiothon and presented the funds raised by staff.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is a pediatric treatment and research hospital whose mission is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Discoveries made at St. Jude have entirely transformed how the world treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

“Research conducted at St. Jude has advanced the diagnosis and treatment of many diseases affecting children and adults. Unfortunately, cancer still affects many lives and childhood cancers can be especially devastating for families. I am incredibly touched by the generosity of our employees whose funds raised give children the hope to overcome childhood cancer and to lead long, fulfilling lives,” said Michelle A. Koury, MD, Crystal Run Healthcare physician.
