About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
Watching my father (a psychiatrist) was a strong influence in my desire to help take care of people in need.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
Endocrinology is a logical biological system which has such a big impact on overall health and well-being hence my participation in the educational process to empower patients with that knowledge is greatly satisfying.
How do you connect with your patients?
Connecting with my patient is individualized and based on short and long term goals, practicality, and overall improvement in health concerns. I listen to them!
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Running, including the NYC marathon 2010 , Salsa dancing
What is your advice for your patients?
Be practical about the goals you set for better health. It makes for a more fulfilling outcome. Always remember to faithfully take some time to care for yourself in the hectic day to day routine of your life!
