About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I was an athlete in high school and experienced an orthopedic injury during wrestling season. After surgery, I became interested in medicine because I wanted to assist others to return to function after injury or illness.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

What I enjoy most about my specialty is the gratitude my patients show after helping them get back to the way they felt before they were confronted with a surgical issue.

How do you connect with your patients?

The best way to connect with a patient is to listen to them and their story, and tell them that I understand and will help in any way that I can.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I really enjoy the outdoors. I am an avid rock and mountain climber, mountain biker, hiker, hunter, golfer, and just about anything I can do outdoors with my family.
