Orthopedic Sports Medicine Specialists
Our orthopedic sports medicine specialists have worked with the New York Jets, the New York Mets, the Philadelphia Phillies, and a host of collegiate and high school athletes. They are fellowship-trained in sports medicine at such prestigious institutions as the Hospital for Special Surgery, NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, and Lenox Hill Hospital.
These exceptional physicians offer leading-edge diagnosis and treatment for a range of ankle, shoulder, knee, elbow, and hip injuries. In fact, they are the few sports medicine specialists in the region who perform elbow arthroscopy (a minimally invasive procedure for examination and treatment), hip arthroscopy, and arthroscopic shoulder reconstruction (joint replacement).
Primary Care Sports Medicine Specialists
Crystal Run also has four Primary Care Sports Medicine specialists, Dr. Pankaj Kaw, Dr. Justin Conway, Dr. Amanda Orengo, and Dr. Sangjin Lim who focus on providing medical care for competitive and recreational athletes of all ages, for all sports and for all levels of competition. They are specially trained to treat musculoskeletal injuries but also address how athletics affect any aspect of the human body, from cardiovascular and respiratory to dermatological and immunologic impacts.
